Saeijs a good leader - Poortvliet
Southampton boss Jan Poortvliet was impressed by new defender Jan-Paul Saeijs' debut during Saturday's 1-0 victory over Barnsley.
The 30-year-old Dutchman has joined the Saints on loan from Roda until the end of the season and his deal can be extended beyond that.
Poortvliet told BBC Radio Solent: "He's a bit of a leader with his personality, I think he's here at the right time.
"He's someone who stays in position and wins headers." (from BBC Sport)
